For Motherās Day 2026, Brilliant Kids Montessori Childcare Centre welcomed families into our North Delta classroom for a warm tea party filled with crafts, clapping, shared smiles, and little acts of care. The day was not built around a big performance. In our 3ā5 yrs room, the tea party gave kids a chance to slow down and notice the people around them. Some children carried trays with cups. Some offered tea with careful hands. Kids were not only joining a celebration; they were learning how it feels to serve, wait, share, and be part of a room full of people they care about.

The room had a busy but gentle feeling. Some children looked closely at their materials. Some chose where a photo should go. Some simply enjoyed being beside their family while making something special for Motherās Day.
These craft moments matter because they let kids connect emotion with action.

Our Infant and Toddler groups joined the day in softer ways. Families and our teacher sat together on the green carpet for clapping, shared attention, and calm group time. At the tables, little ones explored cups, trays, paper, and craft materials with close support. Some watched. Some reached. Some joined in for a moment and then returned to a familiar lap. That is how early learning often looks: small steps, warm faces, and a setting where each child can take part in a way that feels right for them.
