Welcome to our lucky corner of North Delta! This year, St. Patrick’s Day 2026 was more than just a sea of green at Brilliant Kids Montessori Childcare Centre (BKMCC). It was a day of discovery, where our little ones explored Irish legends and festive traditions. From our tiniest infants to our active 3–5 year olds, every room was buzzing with the joy of shared celebrations.

📖 Learning Joy Together: 3–5 yrs Montessori Circle Time
Belonging begins with shared stories and meaningful conversation. In our Montessori 3–5 yrs classroom, St. Patrick’s Day came alive during Circle Time. As we sat together on our sunny rug, our teacher shared stories of lucky legends and colourful rainbows.
Children didn’t just listen — they leaned in, pointed to their favourite characters, and shared their own thoughts about what makes them feel “lucky.”

🎨 Many Hands, One Rainbow: Collaborative Art and Teamwork
Our 3–5 yrs class spent the morning creating a vibrant handprint rainbow. Each child dipped their hand in paint and carefully placed it on our wall — a reminder that “Every Hand Tells a Story.” Beyond the paint, our kids collaborated to decorate our classroom with clovers, carefully placing each one to create a “forest of luck” for everyone to enjoy.

- 🖐Fine motor skill refinement
- ⭐Pride in contributing to a group goal
- 🌈Creative expression through colour
💞 Gentle Hands, Gentle Beginnings: Infant Care Sensory Exploration
Holiday wonder is discovered through calm and safe sensory play. In our **Infant Room**, we focus on sensory development and secure attachment. Our infants explored holiday-themed bins filled with soft paper clovers and textured rice, guided by the gentle hands of our teacher.
- 👶Sensory and tactile awareness
- 🖐Early pincer grasp practice
- 💞Emotional security and trust
- 🏡Sense of belonging in the classroom
🧩 The Ultimate Treasure Hunt: Toddler Program Skill Building
Purposeful play is the foundation of early learning and social connection. Our Toddlers dived into “The Ultimate Treasure Hunt,” using special tools to find golden coins hidden in their holiday bins. Whether they were using “lucky tongs” to practice their grasp or showing off their findings to a friend, our toddlers were engaged in active social play.
